Long descriptions of my day (if I actually post anything).. And also so I can follow personal friend accounts and make sure I haven't missed any of their posts!

I have no life.

Deleted Twitter and Facebook.

I feel relieved.

It’s not permanent, but I just don’t need to be on it for a while.

It is already February 2012!

I totally started slacking on my goals, so now that it is a new month I’m really going to start working on them again. I changed out my calendar! Woohooo February!

I added some birthday things and one of my exams to it. I also used my first water drop sticker since I drank my bottle of water for the day.

My main goal I wanna focus on is keeping up with school work. I’m not terribly behind but I want to be right with what is going on in class or even a little bit ahead. Look at my pretty notes for Finite:

And also gym time. I haven’t gone once and it makes me upset that I haven’t.

Just some random thoughts:

I miss my pets. Band is fun; I actually TALK to people in it! They were like “Are you gonna be in marching band? I hope you will be,” and even if they didn’t really mean it, it made me really happy. I made rice with butter and sugar the other day and put too much butter in, so I think I’ll stop eating that for a while. I’m addicted to Temple Run. I’m still reading The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet’s Nest. I am happy.

Dude, we suck at skype dates.

Or oovoo dates… whatever. I just downloaded Oovoo for nuttin. So I figured since there has been no skype/oovoo date tonight, and two of you have posted some goal related things, I shall post some goal-y things.

Look at what I have placed upon my calendar:

Excuse my awful phone camera. But the sticker says “Great Job!” since I am such a great water drinker. I don’t have any “You suck!” stickers so the circle with “boo!” written in is there since I failed to go to the gym this week. I’m also writing down random places I go to that day besides school. I still have two other colors of sticky dots and I dunno what they’ll represent. I hope to have that figured out in the next few days.

I did buy new stickers for my water drinking, though. And I guess this shall count as my picture for the week:

See, they’re little water droplets. I know, you’re super jealous and am like “why didn’t I get little stickers like that for my water drinking goal?” I haven’t had a single soda since the new year has started, and when I’ve gone out I’ve only had sweet tea or water. Yippee!

Some random things from last week: The food at Taste of Thai here in Fayetteville is freaking amazing. I managed to go into a Forever 21 store and not buy A SINGLE THING. I bought a book journal to keep up with what I read from now on. Currently reading The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets’ Nest by Stieg Larsson. Social Psychology is my favorite class so far. I don’t think my body likes the food at Brough very much. I think I’m addicted to rice mixed with butter and sugar.

I have been drinking at least a bottle of water every day!

Still no soda since the new year. I know that 18 days isn’t really that long, but this is a long time for me.

I have purchased a big desk calendar as well as some stickers to help me with my goals:

I wanted to make birthdays pretty so I bought some nice Happy Birthday stickers. The dots are going being used for various things like “I drank a bottle of water” and “I went to the gym” and I just place them on the days that they apply. The other stickers to the far right are my “Great job!” “You’re awesome!” stickers that I’ll put on after every two weeks of completing a goal. The stars are for exams/quizzes.

My first reward for keeping up with the water thing is to get a nice water bottle after two weeks of drinking at least a bottle of water every day. Not a super awesome reward, but I want a nice bottle! I’ve currently been bringing around a smart water bottle. At first my goal was to drink two bottles a day, but I’d drink around 1 and a half and didn’t want to force another half down before bed.

Other than that, the goals seem to be going well. Then again, we’ve only had two days of class. But tomorrow morning I hope that Cassie and I will go to the gym. I also have Zumba buddies! We are just trying to figure out a nice time to go right now, but we will be going and I could not be more excited.

Goaleygoalgoalgoals!

So, I have the best lady friends. Best lady friends of all the ladies. Yes, yes I do.

This past week we all sat together and made goals for this upcoming semester and the entire year. We are going to try our best to chat on webcam every two weeks to see how everyone else is doing with their goals and how they are doing in general. I know that this will definitely motivate me to not be such a slacker.

Goal is a weird word. Say it a lot. Look at it while you say it.

Moving on.

School related goals:

  • Look over syllabus and continually check over it throughout the semester to keep up with upcoming topics/chapters.
  • Read chapters prior to class discussion
  • Start homework in some way within 24 hours
  • Meet with professors within the first 2 weeks of classes, especially my math professor
  • Meet with professors prior to finals
  • Go to office hours if I’m struggling
  • Do the “5-Day Study Plan” for all exams, even if I think I’m prepared

Body related goals:

  • At least one bottle of water every day
  • Make an effort to actually eat 3 meals a day
  • Take vitamins every day
  • Go to the gym at least once a week
  • Go to bed earlier, wake up at the same time every morning
  • Lotion, lotion, lotion

Random others:

  • Keep up with calendar (gym days, bills, exams, etc)
  • Limit internet time and video game time on weeknights (no more than TWO hours combined)
  • Work on something crafty at least once a week
  • Call family every other day
  • Keep in touch with friends
  • Set $ limit for each month
  • Don’t cuss as much

And most important of all, THINK POSITIVELY!

Imma make 2012 my bitch. That is all.

You may now refer to me as Quantaisha’.

On Friday night we celebrated a couple of friends’s birthdays at this Asian restaurant called Shoguns. They are turning 20 years old. Twenty! That seems so old even though I know it’s not old. I don’t know why it seems like there is this huge gap between 19 and 20, but it seems like such a huge difference. It is scary. Anyway, I ate some yummy Bulgogi! The hot plate that it was on reminded me of Family Steak House. That place was the BESTTTTomgmouthiswateringnow.

Then we had this chef man who was really funny. I don’t know what his real name is. I didn’t know how to pronounce the name that was on his name tag. Then he said his name was something like Luke and the name on the tag was not anything similar to that. He lit the hibachi on fire woooohoooooo

Pretty sure parts of my eyebrows burned off. There were also random “dance parties” and I’m not sure why. Occasionally the lights would dim and bright white lights would flash and some music would come on. They played Somebody To Love by Justin Bieber (I don’t even know if that’s how you spell his last name or if that’s the name of the song), and these little teeny boppers at another table stood up and started dancing. The girls looked like they were really trying to look cyoot. Needless to say, our dancing (while sitting down) was much better ;) Oh! And we went on Veterans Day. And some man was in there in his uniform and everyone in the restaurant cheered for him while he stood on a chair so we could all see him. It made me really happy. All in all, the restaurant was very nice.. Too nice. Too expensive for this college student.

After food timez, everyone hung out at the apartment and pretty much just chilled. Anna, Cassie, and I made a cake for Jecynta and Katherine. They always be talkin’ about dem menz so we figured we would help them out and give them some plastic ones.

It was a night with lots of fun. AND SO WAS THE NEXT DAY! It was a different kind of fun, though. The kind of fun that is shared between you, your television, a PS3 controller, and hopefully a very comfortable chair. I played Skyrim for nearly 7 hours. I am Quantaisha’ the Wood Elf. And yes, you must pronounce the apostrophe: Quantaishapostrophe.

I want to eat my sunflower seeds

But my mouth is burnt from the hot chocolate I drank this morning. BOOOOO

This weekend was quite fantastico. On Friday night I did the Friday Night Live thing. There was a murder mystery and we had to go around campus and find these clues that would help us solve the mystery. Except I didn’t really solve anything, I went around and took pictures of the clues (because they asked us to, for some reason, but they didn’t even check to see if we had taken any).
